On November 18-20 will take place World of Food Beijing, powered by Anuga. We interviewed them to learn more about that show held alongside with three other events: China International Dairy Expo, Sweets & Snacks China and China International Catering Exposition.
What's up on the 2nd edition of World of Food Beijing?
As North China's only international food trade fair, the trade show is going to be attended by over 24,000 visitors poised to meet more than 600 exhibitors from a diverse array of products like imported food, dairy products, seafood, snacks and more!
As some of the novelties for this year's edition:
- World of Food Beijing - powered by Anuga will see a 34 percent jump in exhibiting space taken up by pavilion organizers, including the Argentine Beef Promotion Institute (IPCVA), the French Chamber of Commerce, the EU SME Center or the Benelux Chamber of Commerce among others.
- World of Food Beijing has also won the commitment of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany (BMEL) to back the 2016 edition. This endorsement seeks to further promote German food exports to China, and a stronger German pavilion presence at the event next year.
- World of Food Beijing 2015 also boasts a comprehensive conference program, such as the China International Dairy Industry Conference and the China International Meat Conference hosted by CFNA. Building on the success of 2014.
- Adding to the event offerings is the China Cuisine Association's annual meeting of its members, which will see the gathering of representatives from 1,000 food and beverage establishments across China.
The most highly anticipated segment in any food event is undoubtedly the culinary competition. The main highlight this year will be the debut of the Chinese Cuisine World Championship at World of Food Beijing 2015. This authoritative competition is the only international level competition for Chinese cuisine certified by the World Association of Chefs' Societies in Mainland China.
