Aimed at printers, brand owners and designers, Gulf Print & Pack 2015 will feature key businesses from across the full spectrum of general and package printing. It is the premier print industry event in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region and will connect senior level buyers with over 300 exhibitors. Running from 13 – 16 April at Dubai’s World Trade Centre (DWTC), entry to the expo is free and pre-registration can be made by visiting the official site.
The novelties of the next edition
A special feature at this year’s show will throw a spotlight on 3D advances in the packaging sector. It is being produced and presented by D2M Solutions FZE, the leading technology supplier to the Middle East’s industrial sector and a world leader on 3D printers. The company promises to take visitors on a 3D journey to see every stage of developing new packaging: 3D virtual concept, reverse engineering of existing packaging, developing of packaging molds and new products, 3D printing of prototype packaging and molds and creating 3D virtual products.
Providing a mix of international western companies and strong local brands, exhibitors include printing industry giants such as Heidelberg, Kodak and Xerox. 2015’s edition will feature a large number of first time exhibitor numbers with 45 new companies set to showcase their products and services. The show will also have dedicated pavilions for Chinese and Iranian suppliers.

Some participation results from the last edition
Gulf Print & Pack 2013 attracted a record breaking attendance and reported a 14.9% increase on 2011’s edition with 9,408 key industry professionals visiting the four day show.
Visitors came from 93 countries (83 in 2011 and 65 in 2009) underlining the show’s growing importance in the wider MENA region. With a rise in visitor numbers from China and India, overall attendance from outside the United Arab Emirates was over 38% of the visitor total.

Middle East signed seven deals worth Dhs7m on the first day alone, while Nilpeter ME valued its onsite sales and new business leads at being worth approximately US$5 million.
