This year’s CWIEME Berlin will take place across six halls at the Messe Berlin, Germany on the 5-7th May. After 19 years of continuous growth, the show is anticipating record attendance from engineers, designers, buyers and academics in the global automotive, energy, consumer electronics, industrial machinery, military and aerospace sectors with advance registration figures already going strong.

The novelties of the next edition
In 2015 over 70 new suppliers will be taking part. CWIEME Berlin will also include an MRO zone, dedicated to the maintenance, repair and operation of electrical equipment and components.
Another new feature for 2015, CWIEME Workshop, will offer drop-in sessions with industry experts for engineers looking for practical design solutions and advice.
CWIEME Berlin 2015 also sees the launch of CWIEME Challenge, a new initiative aimed at bringing together the businesses of today with the electrical engineers of tomorrow. Students from academic institutions around the world are invited to present their projects in the CWIEME Challenge Hub, both in poster form and on stage in a live final. The winner will receive a €1,000 travel prize, while all finalists gain valuable exposure to potential employers.

CWIEME Berlin is the leading event in the world for coil wilding, electric motor and transformer manufacturing technologies. But, what makes it different from other similar events?
- CWIEME Berlin is the longest-running show of its kind. The first edition took place in 1996.
- CWIEME Berlin covers materials, components and equipment to manufacture a transformer, generator for electric motor from start to finish – electrical steels, permanent magnets, laminations, and insulating oils, to wires, cables, winding machines, and welding equipment. Many companies can meet both customers and suppliers at the show.

There are more than 100 new exhibitors this year gathered in the dedicated New Exhibitor Zone in Hall 4.1.
