Tokyo has a humid subtropical climate with cool winters and warm humid summers. The most comfortable time for travelling is at the end of March and the beginning of April because in that time the sakura starts blooming. If it's not necessary, also the good time in October, in summertime the weather is too hot and humid. Winter starts in December till the end of March.
